From time to time, people will contact us wondering why their address and or telephone number is listed in our business directory when they are not a business. In most cases, this is because a business was previously registered at that address. It could also be due to a phone number being re-issued by a telecoms company.

If you have discovered your private address or phone number is listed within UK Locate, you can have it removed. All you need to do is contact us using our general contact form.

Simpy tell us the business is no longer active and you would like it to be removed. Please provide a link of the business listing in question.

We will then verify that the business is no longer listed at that address and remove it. Listings are generally removed within 24 hours of you contacting us.

The UK Locate database has been online since 2012 so over that time many companies have either moved address or even gone out of business. We do actively seek out old listings and remove them and we respond to all removal requests.
